Harris documents his journey to climb the Seven Summits, the first South African to do so, in this nicely-illustrated book. His expeditions have included Kilimanjaro (1992), Elbrus (1992, 1999), Aconcagua, Everest (1996, 2003, 2005), Vinson (1999), Carstenz Pyramid (2000), Cho Oyu (2001), Denali (2002), Broad Peak (2009), and others. In 2008 he became the first African to walk unsupported to the South Pole. This book focuses on the Seven Summits.
