Col. Narinder (Bull) Kumar is an internationally renowned mountaineer of legendary fame and the most highly-decorated mountaineer in India. He has successfully led mountaineering expeditions to the highest peaks of Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal, Garhwal, Kashmir and Eastern Karakoram. Out of the 13 highest peaks above 24,000 ft. climbed by Indians, nine have been climbed under his leadership. Despite the title of this book the focus is on Kumar’s expeditions to Trisul (1958, 1976), Everest (1960, 1965), Barahoti (1961), Nilkantha (1961), Nanda Devi (1964), Chomolhari (1970), Kangchenjunga (1977), Teram Kangri (1978), Siachen Glacier (1981), Kamet (1983), and more. Unfortunately, this is an expensive book.
