Prior to her Everest ascent, Poláčková started with Aconcagua in 2005. She then climbed Cho Oyu as a member of the Jagged Globe Cho Oyu Expedition 2006, led by Tashi Tenzing. The following year, 2007, she hired Tashi as her personal guide, along with two high altitude sherpas, and all four ascended Everest via the North Ridge. In Czech, no English translation.
