A Wonderful Print of the First Photograph of Chogori (K2), 1902!

In 1902, an international team of six embarked on an ambitious expedition to the Karakoram. Their goal - the first ascent of K2 (8,611m). During their six-month expedition they achieved a high point of 6,525m, valuable data was collected from which the first map was produced, and the first known photographs of K2 were taken.

We are pleased to offer, from the Bob A. Schelfhout Aubertijn Collection, magnificent, never-before-published prints of this historic first photograph of K2. This image was selected for the cover of Alpinist 37. This is also available as a Limited Edition print.
