The autobiography of Kain (1883-1934) who was the most famous Alpine Club of Canada guide. He guided the first ascent of Mt. Robson in 1913 and relates climbs in the Alps, Canada, and New Zealand. This was first published in a subscription edition limited to 500 copies, then reprinted in 1954 and 1979. Scarce.
