In 1952 two Dutchmen, with Lionel Terray as their guide, made the first ascent of Huantsán (20,976') in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. Two other first ascents were made as well. This UK edition is harder to find than the US “Challenge of the Andes”. From the mountaineering library of Geoff Milburn, guidebook author and member of the British Mountaineering Council, which was auctioned in 2013. A good read.
