This special 50th anniversary edition of Hunt’s classic book includes a special facsimile page with the signatures of the 1953 team based on George Band’s personal copy of the original edition. Also includes Hunt’s preface and Hillary’s postscript from the 40th anniversary edition, a new foreword by the Duke of Edinburgh, a new appendix by Charles Clarke, and a slipcase. Several of the photos in this edition were not in the original edition. The dust jacket is of the same heavy paper as the original. Limited to 1000 copies.
