Everest: The West Ridge

This is the first hardcover edition following the Sierra Club large-format edition. In addition to being signed by Hornbein it is signed by Gombu and Whittaker who made the first American ascent. This edition has some photos not included in the original that are more oriented towards the climb itself, a new preface by Hornbein and a forward by Doug Scott. Still a classic book!
