The Very Scarce Signed Deluxe Edition

Shackleton’s British Antarctic Expedition (1907-09) produced three deluxe, limited-edition, books – Aurora Australis (approx. 80 copies), The Heart of the Antarctic (300 copies), and Antarctic Days (280 copies). The authors cover a wide variety of aspects of the expedition from their initial voyage southward to expedition stories and verse. A cornerstone work for any Antarctic collection. This particular copy contains the half-title, unlike all copies. Very scarce.
